Romanian prime minister Victor Ponta decided that in order to settle the group of aprox. 30000 doctors and pacients formed on facebook, it is ok to legalize bribery, as long as doctors pay taxes for it.
The facebook group started to form on the 13 aug and since then gathered aprox. 30000 doctors and pacients. Currently the group is forming as a legal association so that they could negociate and REFORM the healt sistem in Romania. The legal group is called "Alianta Medicilor" ( the doctor alliance) and the group initially formed on facebook is called "Medici gata de greva generala. Solicitam salarii decente" ( doctors ready for strike. We demand decent salaries).

It is a chaos in Romania at the moment because at the negotiations with the gouvernmet attended just the politicaly controled unions and they have accepted something that does not represent a refom (improvement) in the public health sistem.
We, the doctors, do not want bribery! We want decent sallaries! We want a new order in the public sistem of health!
At this moment the pacients are forced to buy medical supplies, to stay in small rooms (3*3m) with 6 other people!! The doctors buy surgical gloves and the basic equipment in order to be safe.
Because of the corruption of the health sistem and in the gouvernment, the sistem is in colaps. The pacient is the only one that looses! (He pays taxes, has bad hospital conditions and if a doctor is doing his job, the pacient feels ashamed because they know we have bad sallaries and gives bribes.
